Children’s Museum EverWonder Camps
A group of women who enjoyed taking their kids to previous children’s museums sought to establish the 501(c)3 EverWonder Children’s Museum in January 2011 so that everyone in the nearby areas might enjoy a similar experience. EverWonder Children’s Museum started off as a traveling organization without a permanent home. In an effort to carry out its objective and raise awareness of the group, the Board of Directors and volunteers provided science and art programming to the neighborhood through the local library and numerous community events. The EverWonder experience, a physical venue for the EverWonder Children’s Museum, opened its doors in April 2013. This tiny museum room was jam-packed with fun, interactive displays, and activities. Over 6,000 people were served by The EverWonder Experience. The EverWonder Children’s Museum relocated to its current home in April 2015. We are now able to offer more exhibits and activities, as well as a special area for birthday celebrations and field trips, thanks to the new, larger facility.
Children who visit the EverWonder Children’s Museum develop a lifetime love of learning by being encouraged to reflect, ask questions, and be curious about their surroundings. We provide interactive exhibitions and educational programming to encourage creativity in the areas of math, science, technology, engineering, and the arts.

The Top 5 Arguments For Sending Children To Everwonder Summer Camp
One of a child’s most fulfilling and unforgettable experiences might be summer camp. Children are given access to a community of loving mentors at camp who offer experiential learning that promotes self-respect and a love of life. All of the outcomes—friendships, overcoming obstacles, maintaining health, and developing character—put them in a position to enjoy greater, more fulfilling lives in the future. In addition to making lifelong connections and memories, camp teaches its participants many crucial life skills. Here are five justifications for sending kids to camp:
- To embrace novelty.
Children are forced out of their comfort zones at camp and exposed to novel activities and situations that they might not be accustomed to. Campers get the chance to experiment with new things and find new interests. Children have a better chance of finding something that they will excel at or that makes them happy if they try out a variety of hobbies.
- To improve social abilities.
Children learn how to communicate, cooperate as a team, and take charge at camp. Asking campers to perform duties that they might not be asked to perform elsewhere helps develop leadership, and sharing resources and attention promotes collaboration and the desire to contribute.
- Acquiring the ability to manage prudent risks and the value of diligence.
Youth can take healthy risks, set personal objectives, and achieve their aspirations because they feel safe at camp. In a low-stress environment, children learn at camp the value of working hard to achieve their goals and never giving up.
- To strengthen character.
Along with developing new friends, campers also gain an understanding of the traits needed to foster and solidify these bonds. By educating them about ethics, honesty, compassion, respect, and responsibility, camp gives kids the fundamental principles of a solid, moral person. Parents commonly state that their kids are nicer, understand the value of giving, are better able to defend what they believe in, and are more willing to be responsible following camp.
- To promote autonomy.
Children have the ability to make independent decisions at camp with the support of knowledgeable counselors and staff in a secure setting. By taking a chance, campers can learn what works and what doesn’t while exploring new sides of themselves. The peer support offered by the camp set enables kids to quickly get over their need for ongoing parental dependence.
Any well-run camp program’s primary objective is to make sure the kids have a great time. A much-needed respite from the school year, summer camp emphasizes fun, adventure, thrills, smiles, and pure creativity.
