The newest ski area in Utah is called Cherry Peak Resort. They opened just six years ago. Though it hasn’t been around as long as many of the older motels, it is a better alternative for a family like in many aspects. They offer fantastic ski instructors, a wide beginning area, and are conveniently located near Logan. Convenience
Cherry Peak is just a few miles from Richmond, a tiny hamlet in Cache Valley. Because the resort is family-friendly, you may park only a few hundred yards from the lodge and walk straight to the ski lift. They liked how it was just a little small and crowded when were attempting to learn.

Lessons
The ski lessons were the best part. Courtney, the instructor, worked with all five of us.They had a 90-minute class in which he taught us everything from the components of a ski to how to turn, stop, manage your skis, and, most importantly, how to get up after falling! The lads aged 8 to 14 were already talking about their futures as professional skiers before the conclusion of the class!
The Magic Carpet
The magic carpet ride is one of Cherry Peak Ski Resort’s most appealing attractions. Courtney brought us to the ride once we’d learned the fundamentals of skiing on flat land. It’s simply a conveyor belt that you stand on while being dragged up the mountain. This “ride” led us to the top of the bunny slope, where they met up with other families just putting their skis on. They spent another hour in this secure zone practicing tight turns and stops, utilizing the magic carpet to transport us back to the top.
Skiing
Cherry Peak isn’t only for novices, of course. Went up the genuine ski lift when developed some confidence. There are several routes for skiers of all abilities and plenty of room to spread out and maintain your distance. They didn’t make it to the high-level black runs, but did enjoy a few greens and blues on the first trip.
Tubing
The Magic Carpet makes an additional stop for the tubing hill. If your family is still getting ready for skiing, take a fun tube ride at Cherry Peak. Grab a tube, take the magic carpet to the top of the hill, and then tube down the slope. And then repeat the process. You may use your ticket to ride the tube as often. Tubing family tickets are affordable: $35 for four individuals plus $5 for each additional person.
