Can I partake in adventure sports at camp?

Yes, provided that you are of legal age. The minimum age requirement for scouts who desire to mountain bike, rock climb, or participate in the C.O.P.E. High Course is 13. The C.O.P.E. Low Course is open to all scouts. Stop by the “High Adventure Board” outside the dining hall to sign up for these events. These activities take place every day in the morning or late afternoon. (Please be aware that rock climbing has an additional charge.) Also, some scouts might be unable to participate in these events due to health concerns.

Where am I going to sleep at camp?

It could be helpful if you went to the Welcome Center by the Dining Hall on Sunday when you arrive at camp (after 3:00 PM) to check in. You will then receive your campground assignment at that time. You’ll be staying with a troop that has its adult leaders attending camp with them. You will be a member of that troop for the week under the supervision of its adult leaders. We will try our best to put you all in the same campground if other Scouts from your troop are attending camp temporarily. We will only be able to inform you precisely where you will be staying on Sunday afternoon because these site assignments are established a few days after you arrive, depending on the total number of campers.

Each campsite has a restroom, picnic tables, and a fire pit.

Will my son be able to eat enough?
